Export Essentials: An Introduction to the Harmonized System
This webinar is the second in a series of “Export Essentials” webinars about the fundamentals and logistics of exporting.
Webinar participants will learn about:
- The Harmonized System (HS) and its role in international trade
- Why having an accurate HS code is so important
- How to identify your HS Code and Schedule B number (and what is the difference between the two)
- Using export statistics to help you identify overseas opportunities
- Q & A Session with Dennis Lynch
About the Presenter:
The webinar will be hosted by Food Export—Midwest and Food Export—Northeast’s export counselor Dennis Lynch, who over the years has helped hundreds of companies learn more about the “How Tos” of exporting through our free of charge Food Export HelplineTM service.
Dennis has been directly involved in monitoring, troubleshooting and facilitating export transactions for more than 20 years. He is a dynamic and informative speaker who speaks regularly at educational seminars throughout our organizations’ Midwest and Northeast regions.
